High-Fibre Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

For those who are vegan, the binding agent can be converted into bananas which also gives it a boost in taste or you can also use flaxseeds. For flaxseeds, grind them finely. A estimate formula for an egg is 1 tbsp ground flaxseeds to 1 1/2tbsp water


1/4 (56g) cup butter/margarine (softened)
1/4 cup canola oil
2 eggs (3 or 4 mashed bananas or 1tbsp ground flaxseeds + 2 tbsp water)
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp baking soda

1 1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 cup whole wheat flour
3 cup quick oats
1 cup raisin

These are soft, high fibre cookies, it really makes you full really fast and it taste surprisingly well for something so healthy!



- Combine wet ingredients together in the mixing bowl and mix well then combine the dry ingredients together then add it into the wet mixture.
- flour the tray then roll them up into a ball and flatten them to give it it's cookie shape. 
- While you're doing that, preheat the oven to about 220 degrees Celcius. 
- Place the tray filled with cookies and lessen the temperature to 170 degrees and let it cook for about 12-15 minutes
